A comparison desk, not a casino floor

Chip and Stakes exists to put UK Gambling Commission records next to the lobbies those records authorise. We compare licensed operators on licensing, live casino, mobile, studios, support and how usable the site is. We are not an operator. We are not a regulator. We are not owned by 888, NetBet, DragonBet, Spin Genie, Grosvenor, GRP Casino, or any other brand on the page.

The name is a nod to chips and stakes — the ordinary furniture of a casino table — not to a bank, a wallet, or a government office. We handle no customer money. We process no deposits or withdrawals. We do not open accounts, settle bets, or run a random number generator.

The site is funded by affiliate relationships. If you follow a sponsored button and register, we may be paid. That can influence the order of cards. It does not write the licence line, and it does not pay you. Read the affiliate disclosure in full.

What we will not do

• Offer gambling services or link to a brand we ourselves operate — we operate none.
• Invent licence numbers, legal names, or “verified” badges without a register source.
• Promise winnings, “risk-free” play, or official endorsement by the Commission.
• Help with a dispute against an operator; that sits with the operator and, if needed, its ADR provider.
